What: Fall Transit Fest

The City of Mesa, METRO light rail and Valley Metro invite area residents to celebrate the arrival of new transit options in Mesa over free breakfast. 
Beginning the end of December, Mesa will welcome light rail and a new state-of-the-art bus service called LINK.  METRO will take passengers as far east as the Sycamore Transit Center; the LINK will continue a passenger’s trip east to Superstition Springs Center (or Power Road).
In addition to touring the new vehicles, guests will be treated to a free pancake breakfast and the opportunity to win raffle prizes, including a $100 Safeway gift card – just in time for the holidays.
And in an effort to support the surrounding community, canned food will be collected and delivered to the local chapter of the United Food Bank.  Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item with them for donation.
