At Rail Life, we are excited to be able to help bring information to people living and working near the line. You know, stuff that will help you in your day to day activities.
Two things come to mind recently. First, we can help you check out resources like the Arizona Rail Passenger Association. They recently posted information about an upcoming meeting where you can participate in "three public open houses to discuss seven proposed routes for DASH, which operates 6:30 a.m.-11:00 p.m. throughout the downtown corridor." - ARPA recently wrote an article titled, 'Phoenix to update DASH for Light Rail. If you currently live or work in down town Phoenix, you might want to check this out.
Second, I met a great guy recently at the Friends of Transit Conference. Gene is with the Coalition of Arizona Bicyclists and is featured in the following video showing how to use the bike rack on the Light Rail Cars. A big part of the conference was focused on how the transportation systems will work together to benefit many of us.
Busses, bikes, cars etc will all be able to help you get to a light rail stop and to take you to the many great places along the line. To work, shop, play or live.. "Your Life is On the Line!"
